I'm exhausted but still want to write something tonight....
How about a short memory.
When I was in second grade we had spelling tests every Friday. Oh, how I loathed Fridays. I suck at spelling. Always have. It's the one subject in school that never came naturally to me.
The kid that sat next to me had the same spelling issues I did. But he had his own solution. On a piece of paper, no bigger than 1 inch long and 1 inch wide, he would write all 20 words.
I was always impressed by that.
He'd often still fail the test.
That impressed me more.
Loved it! I suppose you could say this proves that cheaters don't always win, but you sure have to admire the kid's ingenuity. I'm impressed by the time and effor that went into making that tiny cheat sheet!
